To the enrollment in ProUni 2023 open this Tuesday, the 28th, and can be done until March 3rd. The scholarships offered in the University for All program are aimed at students who wish to enter private higher education institutions in the country in the first half of this year.

After the registration period, ProUni will publish two notices with the names of the pre-selected candidates. The outcome of the first tender will be released on 7 March. The second call will be published on March 21st.

For each announcement, the pre-selected students must go to the University, within the established deadline, and present documentation proving what is indicated in the application.

Candidates not called in the two notices may express interest in being included in the ranking between 5 and 6 April. See below for more information and dates for the ProUni 2023/1 programme.

how to apply

Registration for the selection is free and must be done online at ProUni official pagein the established period. The candidate must register on the site and fill in all the data on the registration form. After that, you can apply for up to two course options, shift and institution, in order of preference. During the registration period it is possible to change the options.

Who can participate

Students without a higher education qualification who have passed at least one of the last two editions of the National Examination of Secondary Education (Enem) and achieved at least 450 average points in the test scores can enroll in ProUni. Furthermore, the candidate cannot have reset the composition or have taken the exam as a trainer.

To compete for the full scholarship (which covers 100% of the monthly fee), it is necessary to demonstrate a monthly gross family income up to a minimum salary and a half per person. As for the partial scholarship (50% of the monthly fee), the gross monthly family income must be up to three minimum salaries per person.

Public school basic education teachers who intend to pursue graduate and pedagogical courses are also eligible to participate in the programme. There is no income requirement in this mode.

What is ProUni and how does it work?

Created in 2004, the University for All Program (ProUni) is a program of the Ministry of Education which facilitates students’ access to higher education. ProUni offers full (100%) and partial (50%) scholarships at private universities and colleges across the country.

The program, which opens for enrollment twice a year, selects candidates based on their ENEM grades, course options and type of competition.
