The “Snowpiercer” that aired on Art this evening almost prevented Chris Evans from appearing on the first “Avengers” post-credit stage in which he plays Captain America. Here’s why …
Directed by Bong Joon Ho and broadcast this evening on Arte, Snowpiercer invites you to board the train as another, in constant motion and inhabited by the last survivors of a frozen earth. On board this Transperceneige, while the rich were enjoying the luxuries offered by their wheelchairs, the poorest passengers, who were taken to the back of the train, tried to stage an uprising.
Ready to do anything to escape his plight, a man named Curtis Everett leads the rebellion with his friend Edgar. Firmly, boldly and recklessly, he plays Chris Evans … and wears a beard.
A detail that may seem trivial, but, nevertheless, the Avengers team had some problems shooting the post-generic scene of the film (released a year and a half before Snowpiercer).
Indeed, the final series of the Marvel feature film, in which superheroes meet on the streets of New York to taste the aftermath of an epic battle, was filmed just at the last minute, just days before the film was released.
Only a small problem: At that time Chris Evans – who gives his character to Captain America – had already started filming Snowpiercer and therefore the beard had grown for this occasion. So that this change of hairstyle is not noticeable on the face of his character, as if cleanly shaved, we can see that he is holding one hand in front of his mouth.
In addition, we can also see that Torah actor Chris Hemsworth lost his beard, presumably due to another shot.
