The new version of Bing gets an AI chat along the lines of ChatGPT; see how to join the waitlist and use the search tool

With the growing popularity of AI chats, the bing took the opportunity to incorporate the resource into the research platform.   1. Login bing.com/new or sign in to the Bing Search app (Android | iOS);
  2. Press “Join Waiting List”;
  3. Sign in with a Microsoft account;
  4. After login, you will already be in the list. The platform sends an email after releasing the service on your account.

The timescales for making the new Bing available may vary. During this test, it took my Microsoft account 10 days to receive the feature.

How to use Bing AI Chat

You can use the feature on Bing via Microsoft Edge, the mobile app or the Windows system tray.

  1. Open Bing and enter any search term;
  2. Wait for the AI ​​response. Select “Let’s talk” or go to the “Chat” tab to start a conversation window;
  3. You can reply to topics or use the platform’s reply suggestions. Bing’s AI can reply up to six times on the same conversation. Next, you need to scan your history and launch another dialog.
