– I come from a very humble family, I have suffered from hunger in my life. I was seven years old, I was hungry and crying and my mother said: ‘Drink water and sleep’. This is a very strong trauma, you know? It’s life that hits you and teaches you that things aren’t easy.
The Corinthians player also spoke about the need to be successful as a footballer. According to the athlete’s report, he had only one life option to follow and other family members depended on his success in sports.
– For me there was no plan B, if it didn’t work as a player I would have done something else, there was no such possibility. I had to be successful, because there were a lot of people who depended on me. How could I go wrong? Then life goes on, and you will become more insensitive, more experienced and things will happen- she concluded.
