Creed 3, which hits theaters on March 1, marks the directorial debut of Michael B. Jordan, who also stars in the film. If you are not afraid, enter the ring and try our special boxing quiz!

To remind you, in Creed 3, the hero became a boxing idol, surrounded by his family. Adonis Creed has nothing more to prove. Until the day his childhood friend, Damian, also a boxing prodigy, reappears.

Hardly out of prison, Damian is ready to do everything to get into the ring and get his rights back. Adonis then plays to save himself, before an adversary determined to destroy him.

Michael B. Jordan wanted the characters in Creed 3 to face their differences while showing empathy. He, who directed his first film, explains:

“Because how we manage our emotions and how we express them is an integral part of our search for identity. Creed III explores the trajectories and relationships of two people who made different choices, followed different paths and ended up. In the same ring.”

“I wanted my film to be about the lessons I learned in life. About the importance of being kind to others, especially to yourself. Most people don’t know how to do this.

I also wanted my film to address the issue of toxic masculinity and the risks a man takes when he doesn’t face his past, when he doesn’t talk about his traumas and when he doesn’t try to overcome them.

Creed III is the ninth film in the Rocky franchise, following Rocky (1976), Rocky II (1979), Rocky III (1982), Rocky IV (1985), Rocky V (1990), Rocky Balboa (2006), Creed: L. Rocky Balboa’s Legacy (2015) and Creed II (2019).
