Discover the trailer for ‘Ghosted’: Action for love by Ana de Armas and Chris Evans

The pair of actors coincide in this film directed by Dexter Fletcher.

The new movie Apple TV + now bets on the rom-com with action, ‘Ghosted’, and with a couple who have already shown chemistry when they have been seen together on previous occasions. We talk about Ana de Armas and Chris Evans. Little did we know about the plot, which was known to have action and romantic adventures.

The trailer introduces Evans’ character, Cole who has been on a date with Sadie (de Armas).. Cole falls in love with that girl he’s been on a date with. Later she has not responded to her messages, and although everything indicates that the young woman is doing ghosting, since he has lost contact without explanation, he is convinced that they are destined to be together. So he takes a sudden trip to London as a romantic gesture. But this trip will discover the reasons why Sadie has disappeared without a trace of her: she is a spy for the CIA. What he envisioned as a romantic story at that point in his life turns into a spy thriller where “action speaks louder than words.”.

De Armas joins the film after her recent Oscar nomination for ‘Blonde.’ Her credits also include ‘Deep Water’, ‘Blade Runner 2049’ and ‘No Time to Die’. Evans has played Captain America in several Marvel movies, as well as acting in ‘Before you go’ or ‘An exceptional gift’. And together, both actors have previously worked together on ‘Puñales por el espalda’ and ‘The Gray Man’.

The film is directed by Dexter Fletcher, known for his work behind ‘Rocketman’ and in charge of directing, although he is not credited, the other musical biopic, ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ in 2018. He has also directed ‘Eddie the Eagle’ or ‘Dawn in Edinburgh’.

The script is in charge of Rhett Reese and Paul Wernickwho previously worked together on ‘Zombieland’ or in 2016 were in charge of the irreverent story of ‘Deadpool’, bringing an iconic Wade Wilson by the hand of Ryan Reynolds. Wernick and Reese wrote the sequels to both ‘Zombieland: Kill and Finish’ and ‘Deadpool 2’, and are currently attached as writers on the upcoming ‘Deadpool 3’.

The film’s cast also includes Amy Sedaris, Adrien Brody, Tim Blake Nelson, Tate Donovan, Marwan Kenzari, Lizzie Broadway, Mustafa Shakir, Mike Moh, Fahim Fazli, Marisol Correa, Gina Jun, Victoria Kelleher, Sasha Go, Bailey MB, Daniel Eghan, and Scott Voge.

This new title will bring together fans of romantic comedies and followers of action movies. The film is scheduled to premiere on April 21 on Apple TV +. Do you want to see the couple together in action (and in love)?
