The HBO series The Last of Us it is a listening phenomenon, with numbers growing from week to week. With the premiere of the eighth and penultimate episode of the first season of the series adapting Naughty Dog’s game of the same name, Brazil’s HBO has revealed that the episode will arrive earlier than previous weeks.
The outcome of Joel and Ellie’s journey will arrive on the channel and its stream at 10pm (Brasilia time) this Sunday March 12th. Up until now, episode previews were coming in at 11pm. Then, fans of the series will be able to watch the season finale of The Last of Us An hour before.

The reason for the change is the arrival of daylight saving time in the United States, changing the time difference from Brazil and changing the time of the first series, since the launch is globally simultaneous.

The Last of Us is a series that adapts a Naughty Dog game exclusively for PlayStation and tells the story of Joel and Ellie, two survivors in a post-apocalyptic reality. With Craig Mazin, from Chernobyland Neil Druckman, the creator of the original game, as showrunner, the series stars Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey.
The final episode was titled Look for the lightOR look for the light, in free translation, the motto of Vagalumes, and will have an estimated duration of 43 minutes. Although the first season of the series is coming to an end, a second season has already been confirmed by HBO.
