This Wednesday, the former president admitted, for the first time, that he had incorporated jewels presented by the Saudi Arabian government into his personal collection. Among the objects of the Swiss luxury brand Chopard are a pen, a ring, a watch, a pair of cufflinks and a kind of rosary. The statements were made to CNN Brasil.
The jewels entered Brazil in October 2021 at the hands of the entourage of the then Minister of Mines and Energy (MME), Bento Albuquerque.
