Less than a year after Peter von Kant, François Ozon delivers his new film, the quirky comedy Mon Crime, with a four-star cast including Nadia Tereskevic, Rebecca Marder, Isabelle Huppert, Fabrice Lucchin and André Dusollier.

As is often the case with the director’s films, this feature film was very well received by French critics, with an average rating of 4/5 on AlloCiné (and that’s for 33 ratings). It is even the highest rated comedy since the beginning of 2023.

What are you doing?

In Paris in the 1930s, Madeleine Verdier, a young and beautiful actress, penniless and untalented, was accused of murdering a famous producer. With the help of his best friend Pauline, a young unemployed lawyer, he is acquitted of self-defense.

Then a new life begins, made of glory and success, until the truth comes out…
