Stranger Things: Fed up with sexist behavior in Hollywood, this actor quits his career

You must remember him. In Stranger Things season 4, Grace Van Dien plays Chrissy, a fan who befriends Eddie (Joseph Quinn) and Vecna’s first victim (Jamie Campbell Bower) in a traumatic scene.

On paper, you’d think things are going well for the 26-year-old. He had a special role in the ultra popular series and is also known for his talent as a gamer. But behind the scenes, his experience in Hollywood has been less than happy. That’s why Grace Van Dien chooses to prioritize streaming projects.

Deadline reports that during a recent live stream on Twitch, he admitted to having a terrible experience, the worst of which was when a film producer – who he chose not to name – offered a triple!

The thing is, the last few projects I’ve worked on haven’t been the most enjoyable, especially because of the people I’ve had to work with.– says the actor. With streaming, I can choose who to hang out with, who to talk to, etc.

He adds: “In one of the last movies I did, one of the producers asked me to…he hired a girl he was sleeping with and asked me to do a threesome with them. He is my boss. And that’s why I didn’t do it, I cried. I was so nervous“.

In addition to his role as Chris in Season 4 of Stranger Things, Grave Van Dien has also appeared in series such as White Celebrity, The Village, and The Newbie. She is the daughter of actor Casper Van Dien (Starship Troopers) and granddaughter of legend Robert Mitchum.
