“It’s been a heavenly job for me.”
Season 2 of ‘Outer Range’ isn’t officially on the horizon on Amazon Prime Video, but Imogen Poots she is more than willing to return as Autumn.
The amazing western of Amazon Prime Videostarring the actor from ‘Avengers’ and ‘Dune’ Josh Brolinpremiered less than a month ago, but the future of this story has already been discussed.
“Season 2 is up in the air. I think we did this on a whim. We all thought it was very original and we all wanted to do it“, Poots exclusively told DigitalSpy.
“And it’s fun with television: I always forget that there is such an option, you know, to go back. Because it’s often kind of a standalone miniseries if it doesn’t come back, which is also great.”
“But there have been rumors of, if you could… I know there are a lot of ideas that would be promoted and explained if we went back again. Because obviously you set things up in the first season so that you could deepen them in the next one. But I would definitely go back.”
Having earned credits on ‘V for Vendetta’, ‘Green Room’, ‘Vivarium’ and ‘The Father’, the star’s next statement said a lot about ‘Outer Range’.
“I had one of my best experiences, creatively and emotionally, in this job“, revealed.
“It was hard work, but I really loved the company and our crew and filming in New Mexico. It was a heavenly job for me. I wouldn’t always say that. I’m not that kind of person. But this one, yeah, I loved it.”
Let’s see if the viewing figures can justify another try.
