Now on iOS, the button that gives access to “Communities” has been found under development in the Settings menu of WhatsApp Business Beta
WhatsApp Business prepares a shortcut to access communities in the iOS app. The link takes the user to a complete list of all participating groups, similar to the one in Whatsapp traditional.
- WhatsApp tests showing unknown usernames in group previews
- WhatsApp tests the new font selector in the image editor
The “Community” button was found in the settings menu of WhatsApp Business Beta (version 23.5.0.75) on iPhone. It has no new features, despite being placed in a different area of the app that is not dedicated to companies and businesses.

The addition of the shortcut in the menu, instead of the main screen of the app, is due to the presence of the corporate WhatsApp “Business” button. It’s in the same location as the “Community” button in the common messenger, but it’s essential for corporate account admins, so it can’t be removed.
Under development
The Shortcut for “Community” first appeared on Android in mid-February and, for now, testers still don’t have access to it. According to the WABetaInfo website, the feature is still under development and it’s not possible to predict when the resource will be released to everyone.
