All in Everywhere at the Same Time was the big winner of the 2023 Oscar, winning seven categories. Avatar, Top Gun and Black Panther only got one each

All everywhere at the same time was the big winner of the 2023 Oscar. With seven statuettes, including those for best film and best director, the feature film was the big star of last Sunday evening (12) and confirmed the favoritism that had accumulated since last year — but which won strength on the eve of the biggest film awards in the world.

In addition to the two main categories, the work also won the best actress award for Michelle Yeoh and Supporting Actress for Jamie Lee Curtis. Another bet that was confirmed was the win of Ke Huy Quan for Best Supporting Actor, who gave a very emotional speech about returning to Hollywood after almost giving up on acting.

Another favoritism that was confirmed was Brendan Fraser For The whale. After winning the Best Actor award, the star commented on his return to the screen after a decade of ostracism and depression and also commented on the abuse he suffered from a producer years ago. Fraser received a long standing ovation from the audience.

Who also did well at the Oscars 2023 was Netflix. Streaming managed to get four awards for Nothing new on the frontincluding Best International Film and Best Adapted Screenplay. Pinocchio by Guillermo del Toro AND How to take care of a baby elephant he also secured new figurines for the service. RRR: revolt, rebellion, revolution also won Best Original Song for Naatu Naatu.

Blockbusters, on the other hand, only went home with victories in the technical categories. Giving the obvious, Avatar: The Way of Water won for best visual effects and Top Gun: nonconformist in the best sound. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever it won for Best Costume Design and made Ruth E. Carter the first black woman to win the category twice.

Already The Banshees of Inisherin finished without a prize. The feature garnered attention with its new directions, but went home empty-handed. A similar situation happened with elviswhich was highly touted as one of cinema’s greatest biopics, but it didn’t take for long.
