Gloria Stuart (Rose Dawson)

The actress responsible for the charismatic older version of Rose, also due to her advanced age, had few roles after starring in James Cameron’s classic. At the time of the film’s release, she was already 86 years old. She has also taken part in series such as Touched by an angel AND Polyclinic. Gloria Stuart died at the age of 100, more or less the same age as the character Rose Dawson, who was 101. Kate Winslet (Rose DeWitt)

Although the role of Rose is, to this day, one of the best remembered, not even being cast in Titanic it was the high point of Kate Winslet’s career. In all, she now has seven Academy Award nominations, having been awarded in the Best Actress category in 2009, for her portrayal of her in The reader. Among the most important works recently, there is that of the protagonist of Easttown seaof HBO. By the way, Winslet will soon star in another series on the channel, which is among the most anticipated of the year.

Leonardo DiCaprio (Jack Dawson)

Just like his double Kate Winslet, Leonardo diCaprio has also had his share of Oscar nominations. While he received no nominations for his role as Jack, the actor was nominated six times for the award. In 2016 he received a statuette in the Best Actor category, for the return. In addition to being very active on the big screen (and now famous for dating much younger women), he has dedicated himself to his career as an executive producer and is also an environmental activist.

Victor Garber (Thomas Andrews)

A lesser known aspect of Victor Garber is that he is also a singer. After giving life to the builder of the Titanic, one of the historical figures portrayed in the film, Garber has created many other works. Among the most recognized are the movies argon AND Hitmanin addition to the series Legends of Tomorrow AND Power.
