“AstroSam” says he dreams of going into space in a European rocket

Astronaut Samantha Cristoforetti has already completed 2 missions to the ISS

Italian astronaut Samantha Cristoforetti, also known as ‘AstroSam’, said she dreams of going to space on a European rocket.

Cristoforetti was in Strasbourg, France, and handed over to the President of the European Parliament, Roberta Metsola, the European Union flag that the astronaut carried on his last mission aboard the International Space Station (ISS).

“I have achieved my dream of flying into space twice, but I would like to achieve another one, which is to be able to fly there with a European rocket,” said the Italian.

“AstroSam” recently made history by becoming the first European woman to command the ISS. .
