Maria, residing in the interior of São Paulo, became known in Internet after her job search at age 101 took social media by storm. According to her, her main goal was to depend less on others to buy the “small wines“which he likes so much.

A family member helped her put together a resume and delivered the document to a meatpacking plant in the city where many of her relatives worked.

The plant employee who received the job was delighted with the initiative and shared everything on social media, praising the “lesson of courage, strength and independence”.

The fuss on the web caught the attention of companies and the old lady ended up getting a lot of pampering. One brand has even donated a drink subscription to Maria, who receives her products at her home every month. Today, she and her family manage her profile on Instagram with 6,700 followers, sharing inspirational messages and lots of wine.
