‘Godzilla vs. Kong 2’: Dan Stevens will star in the continuation of the “Monsterverse”

The sequel to ‘Godzilla vs. kong‘, which will be the fifth installment of the “monsterverse” after this one, ‘Godzilla‘ (2014), ‘Kong the Skull Island‘ (2017) and ‘Godzilla, King of the Monsters‘ (2019), will begin production this summer in Australia.

Although there is no official synopsis yet, we have several clues as to where the story could continue.

The most insistent rumor has been that of a new adaptation of ‘Son of Kong’, title referring to the sequel to the original 1933 ‘King Kong’. That film, released just 9 months after its predecessor, presented to the adorable son of Kong, a great white apefollowing the death of his father in the events of the original.

Another option that has always been on the fore is the possible crossover with the saga of ‘Pacific Rim’something that we believe will end up happening sooner rather than later.

Dan Stevens will star in ‘Godzilla vs. kong’, the new installment of the “monsterverse” of Legendary Pictures. Adam Wingard will repeat in the director’s chair.
