In this Sunday’s episode we will also see (and hear) John Lithgow (‘The Crown’), Krysten Ritter (‘Jessica Jones’), Seth Green (‘Family Guy’) or the biggest TikTok star, Charli D’ Amelia.
Every movie buff has experienced that moment of wanting to explain to their friends a great movie scene, a very famous scene from a very famous movie that the friend has no idea about. We have all thrown “Do you remember when in ‘The Simpsons’ …, well it comes from there”. And it is difficult to imagine a great moment in cinema, television or history that does not have its tribute or reference in ‘The Simpsons’. And the best thing is that the Matt Groening series has always managed to do so while maintaining its own deep identity and humor.
You’re nobody if you don’t appear on ‘The Simpsons’ and ‘Succession’ is much more than someone, it is, by far, the best series today. For this reason, although the yellow family now lives in Disney, it should not surprise us that their next crossover will be with the HBO series. Of course, it will be, at the same time, a tribute to the 2016 film ‘The founder’, about the founder of McDonalds’. The episode, ‘Meat is Murder’, which will be broadcast this Sunday in the United States and will arrive shortly after on Disney + Spain, will have at least one figure from the Roy family.
According to Comic Book, this could be Nicholas Braun and his cousin Greg, one of the fan favorites and, without a doubt, the funniest of them all. We will have to wait for its broadcast to know to what degree this crossover arrives, but according to the first shared image we see no less than three of the four brothers: Roman Roy (Kieran Culkin), Connor Roy (Alan Ruck) and Shiv Roy ( Sarah Snook).
Of course, it seems that only Braun will be the one to voice his characters. That is, for him to make a really official cameo. In fact, other stars that appear in the episode as cameos are John Lithgow (‘The Crown’), Krysten Ritter (‘Jessica Jones’), Seth Green (‘Family Guy’) or the biggest TikTok star, Charli D’ Amelia.
Recall that ‘The Simpsons’ was recently renewed by Disney + until 2023, with which it will be its 34th season.
