Don’t miss the Wonder Woman 1984 post-credits scene airing this Sunday night on TF1, because what you’ll find at the end of the featurette will give you a big whiff of nostalgia! For what ? I will explain if you are not afraid of spoiling!

At the end of Wonder Woman 1984, the second solo adventure of the superhero played by Gal Gadot, viewers find themselves in the middle of nowhere. From behind, we find Wonder Woman cutting through the crowd and preventing the pole from crashing into the cart. Finally, it is believed to be Wonder Woman…

Because when the woman being held by the baby’s mother turns around, we discover it’s…Linda Carter. If that name means nothing to the younger of you, those with a few more years on the clock know that she played Wonder Woman in the iconic 70s series.

In a nostalgic post-credits scene from 1984’s Wonder Woman, the character played by Linda Carter reveals that she is Asteria, an Amazon warrior mentioned in the film who was believed to have disappeared after sacrificing herself to protect the Amazons from men.

The appearance of Linda Carter in this post-credits scene related to the story is therefore much more than a wink, with an obvious desire to let the character shine in the third part. Unfortunately, today this new opus is much more than hypothetical, and the meeting of the two Wonder Women on the big screen is difficult to imagine…
