Zach Braffdirector, screenwriter and ex boyfriend of Florence Pugtold the details of a scene from A good person, a new feature film starring the actress. - 8 films with Florence Pugh in the cast – and where to watch them!
“Florence came up with the idea of cutting his hair, which is a nightmare for the production. Because we’re shooting completely out of order; and then the character has hair in one scene and his hair is cut off in the next,” explained the director.
And I didn’t want to wear wigs because I don’t particularly like the way they look, especially in a low budget movie – I don’t even think wigs in a big budget movie are cool. So we had a real puzzle going on: ‘How do we get Florence to cut her hair live on camera and then time everything so that the hair scenes happen before her?'”
“I’d say, ‘It’s impossible,’ and Florence kept saying, ‘You’ll find a way'”Zach said. “And we finally found a way! So that was the biggest transformation. Some people thought that [ela usava] a wig, but she cut her hair off in front of the camera.”
With a premiere date set for March 24, in A good person Pugh plays Allison, a woman who finds her life falling apart after being involved in a fatal accident. In addition to the star, the production also features Molly Shannon, chinaza uche, Celeste O’Connor AND Morgan Freeman in the cast.
