Alma died

The Argentail monster has a new victim. Alma Guerin is dead. Scientific police were sent to the site to conduct the first questioning. Georges found small traces of blood on the English teacher’s jeans. It’s the killer’s signature that mocks them because it’s not on file.

In turn, Benjamin was taken to the hospital. As a precaution, Victoire informs her that she will be under observation. After a while Sarah comes to his bedside. Despite knowing that it is very sensitive, the policewoman needs his testimony to advance the investigation. After offering her condolences, Sarah asks him what happened.

A teary-eyed Benjamin recounts that he found Alma tied to the couch before the killer struck her. When he woke up, he was tied up and lying next to his partner. At that time Alma was still alive and they looked at each other for the last time knowing full well what was about to happen. The killer then put the gun to Alma’s neck and then killed him without Benjamin being able to do anything. Argentail’s monster then attacked him, but the weapon stopped him. It was the arrival of the cleaning lady that scared him.

At the police station, Commander Constant instructs his teams to do whatever it takes to get hold of the Argentail monster. Georges informs him that the USB key from the Delcourts is a promotional gift offered on Christmas Eve at the Des Amis Bar in Lille 2020. For Martin, it is thus likely that the killer was living in the region at the time. Meanwhile, Damien is back at work after spending a few days in Morocco with his partner and learns of Alma’s death.

Lisa, meanwhile, thinks she should never have been asked to recuse herself from the investigation. However, Georges points out to him that it wouldn’t change anything and then specifies that he is not responsible for the killer’s victim. Only Lisa is troubled by Alma’s death and tries to understand why the killer attacked the couple. Georges then reveals that the English teacher had a son and that it was one of his cuddly toys that was placed at the crime scene.

After that, Georges goes to St. Clair Hospital in the hope that Benjamin will remember something else. The on-site doctor indicates flashes and isolated images that return. He especially remembers the cartoon music, the metal of the gun and the scar on his chest. While George tries to understand why the killer attacked them, Benjamin replies that they were planning to have a baby.

At the high school, Chloe gathers the students to tell them a scary story. An opportunity for the principal of Agnès Varda to also pay tribute to this extraordinary teacher. It’s a shock to Jordan and he struggles to accept the news. Although saddened by Alma’s disappearance, the teenager thinks first of all about his mother, for whom it will be very difficult.

At the same time, Benoit confides in Francois and Chloe that a few hours before his death, he saw a suspicious person hanging around their colleague’s house. On Chloe’s advice, she goes to the police station, where she makes Nordin believe that she saw a man in a big black car in front of Alma’s house. Benoit then explains how he fears being next on the hit list. Understandingly, Nordin advises her to seek professional help if this feeling of paranoia persists.

Meanwhile, Commander Constant returns Lisa to the investigation. As they evaluate, Damien points out that the blood found on Alma’s jeans is the same as the blood found on Corinne Chassagne. Belongs to a Caucasian male, unregistered. From now on, there is no doubt that it is the blood of the murderer. However, that’s not all, as Damien manages to identify the shaving soap used by the Argentail monster. This is an assortment sold only in specialized stores. When Lisa smells the soap, she immediately recognizes the scent of Benoit Letelier.

Jules returned to Seth

It’s Manon’s first day as a peacekeeper. The moment Nordin takes when he goes to the police station. If he is too excited, the young woman is especially stressed. Indeed, Manon has no desire to be compared to her mother. Nordin then informs him that it is not a disability and then advises him to rest.

To celebrate recruiting a Downey girl to his team, Martin invites Manon and Nordin to lunch at a restaurant. However, their project is hampered by the unexpected arrival of Jules Corcas. While Martin is happy to have her back, Nordin is not. Since he has no place in the set, Martin agrees to take Jules for a few days. When Manon is in uniform, Manon can’t help but tease her about Nordin’s influence on her career choices. When Nordin moves to shake his hand, Jules ignores himself. After apologizing to Manon and Nordine, Martin cancels their lunch to spend time with Jules.

During lunch, Martin asks the young man about his stay in Sete. After finishing her work, Jules decided to go to the region to visit friends. In fact, she especially needs to get her mind off it because she just broke up with her boyfriend.

Later, Jules finds Gabriel. Happy, Julie offers him to join her and Charlie for a drink. Unfortunately, Gabriel refuses because he has work. When Jules lights up the joint, Gabrielle pleads with him to put it out as they are in front of the workplace.

Reno marks his territory

Marianne reads Sebastian’s note again with a smile on her face and even tries on the scarf he gave her to match her complexion. When Reno picks her up to go to work, Mariana hurries to hide him in a dresser drawer.

Later, Christel meets Reno on a coffee break. An opportunity for the social worker to mention the many gifts she has given her spouse to continue to keep the flame alive. If the Doctor thinks she means a classic car, he loses his smile when he learns that Mariana got the scarf from another man.

In the afternoon, Renault texts Sébastien to come and have an aperitif at home so they can get to know each other better, which Marianne doesn’t really like. Indeed, she is convinced that she does this only to show that she is a married woman. Renault argues otherwise.

In the evening, Mariana and Reno receive Sebastian. After this, Dr. Dumas goes to great lengths to show the prosecutor that Mariana belongs to him. When he discovers that Sébastien is single, Reno decides to introduce him to Claudine, Marianne’s friend.
