Netflix: Only 7 days left to see the only real-life Brad Pitt movie… but in a horror movie!

SPOILER ALERT! This article shows the plot of World War Z. If you haven’t seen it, don’t read it.

When we look at Brad Pitt’s filmography and come across World War Z, something is wrong. why this movie Why is the zombie film one of the most famous actors in the career of this moment? Because, indeed, the star has been working on his filmography for years and has carefully avoided playing summer blockbusters as soon as they are seen, as soon as they are forgotten.

The answer is simple: because World War Z is actually Brad Pitt’s story.

What are you talking about? World War Z begins on a day like any other. But Gerry Lane (Brad Pitt) and his family find themselves stuck in a monster traffic jam on their daily commute. He quickly realizes that the situation is literally extraordinary. People violently attack each other. A deadly virus is spreading.

With a huge boost of facilities worthy of the biggest Hollywood blockbusters and quite successful special effects, World War Z leaves the classic tracks of the zombie movie. Some sequences are surprising. The main characters are constantly sitting in airplanes to fly places. Perhaps not just for the enjoyment of aerial views…

But if you read between the lines, the plot of World War Z is actually very clear. This is the story of Brad Pitt, the most famous person and family man.

Think about the film with this prism in mind. The film begins with Brad Pitt trying to live the life of a normal family man with his wife and children. But they were immediately besieged by a horde of hideous, bilious creatures. According to this metaphor, zombies replace paparazzi or anyone who wants to know more about their favorite star with the slightest information that is written in the title.

Understandably, Jerry/Brad and his family cannot return home. They must live in a safe place away from the world. In the movie, it’s the UN command center on the ship. As a bonus, an orphan is adopted on the way.

Throughout the film, Gerry travels the world. Like Brad Pitt. And every time it’s a riot. A zombie riot, but it seems comparable to a rabid fan riot. He ends up giving himself a fatal disease, realizing that zombies do not prey on terminally ill or seriously injured people, as they are not suitable hosts for infection.

Gerry/Brad then walks through a hallway full of brain dead creatures. They turn, run towards him – and end up walking right past him. This is the ultimate dream of an aspiring Hollywood star. The ability to walk freely, without fear of someone coming to disturb him, jumping on his neck, whether he is alone or with his family.

World War Z leaves the Netflix catalog on April 1st.
