The director of ‘Don’t look up’ manages to bring Iron Man and Batman together.
Robert Downey Jr.who will star in the remake of Alfred Hitchcock’s ‘Vertigo’, and Robert Pattinsonone of the best Batman actors, will team up in the new film from ‘Don’t Look Up’ director Adam McKay.
A McKay spokesperson has confirmed to ‘The Wrap’ that the actors of Iron Man and Batman will lead an impressive cast in ‘Average Height, Average Build’.
The black comedy film will also feature the participation of Amy Adams, Forest Whitaker and Danielle Deadwyler.
McKay’s script is a tongue-in-cheek story about a serial killer who manipulates politicians and lobbyists into passing laws that make it easier for him to hoard corpses. With such a plot and cast, are we facing one of the best comedies in film history?
Although there is still no study linked to the project, ‘The Hollywood Reporter’ speculates that could end up on netflix, as it happened to McKay’s comedy ‘Don’t look up’, Oscar nominated in 2022.
Production of ‘Average Height, Average Build’ is scheduled for this summer in Boston.
The two male leads in the project have a very busy few months ahead of them, as they Pattinson plans to start shooting ‘The Batman 2’ in November of this same year. The DC sequel will be released in 2025.
For his part, the Marvel actor, Robert Downey Jr.has also recently debuted a completely new look while filming ‘Oppenheimer’ directed by Christopher Nolanone of the most anticipated movies of 2023 in which he stars alongside Cillian Murphy and also includes Emily Blunt, Matt Damon, Florence Pugh, Rami Malek and Gary Oldman.
