This was the accident that caused Keanu Reeves filming an action scene of ‘John Wick’

Keanu Reeves has just released the latest of his films about the legendary hitman, ‘John Wick’. In the fourth and last tape of the saga (spin offs apart), we see Wick again facing a multitude of assassins, who seek to end his life. Something that we have seen before, since in the three previous releases Reeves was in charge of offering us a good dose of fights, deaths and violence.

This is all fiction, of course, and the shooting of these types of scenes is painstakingly choreographed and designed, but… Is it possible that some of the stunts and stunts had a bad outcome for the actors involved?

Reeves recently spoke with comicbook.comin an exclusive interview, and brought to light some accidents that had taken place on the filming set. In one of them, he opened the head of a stuntman, by his own admission.

“As for accidents… I once made a mistake, I split a man’s head open,” commented Reeves. “The truth that was very fucked up – forgive my language.”

In addition, the actor added another situation in which the filming became “complicated” for one of the members. “A guy had an accident with a car. He was inside and he had to go to the hospital, but he’s okay. All this serves to remind us that we must be careful. The good thing is that everyone [en el set] He’s looking out for the rest.”

Finally, he added: “There are always some bruises, aches, or bruises, but ‘no human has been harmed making these movies’,” he joked, imitating the voice of typical credit alerts.

The actor prepared for months to be able to perform the stunts of the last film. One of them, the most complex, took place in a car at high speed, surrounding the Arc de Triomphe in Paris. The interpreter had to learn to do a 180 degree turn and driftall while reloading his pistol and firing it towards the door.

“It’s been 12 weeks of training. They are new levels of action,” commented the actor. “The action of ‘John Wick’ asks for a little more. There you can see the effort and commitment of the team.“

The latest film in the saga has broken a box office record on its opening weekend. Keanu Reeves continues to exceed expectations, or at least that’s what the critics of ‘John Wick 4’ have stated. The end of the fourth chapter of the franchise has left the occasional loose end… Will it be an invitation to a future ‘John Wick 5’?
