Benoit is questioned by the police
Lisa suspects Benoit of Argenteuil’s monster. There are many coincidences between Razor Soap, the fact that he was living in Argeneil during the first murders, and in Sete when the murders resumed. After he concludes that Benoit killed his own parents, Commander Constant points out that this wouldn’t be the first time the sociopathic teenager had done this. Additionally, Lisa especially realizes that Benedict has been taunting and comforting her for years when she killed her parents. Martin still reminds him that they are not sure of anything.
A short while later, Martin re-read Benjamin’s statement, and the description of the killer could match Benoit’s. Lisa remembered one detail. The man who killed Al was silent, and so was Chloe Delcourt. So the killer knew the Delcours, Benjamin Ventura and probably Alma Guerin. However, Lisa points out to the contrary that the couples of Chassany and Tyman-Reynaud have nothing to do with the SVT professor.
George, on the other hand, has something new with the USB key. If they know that the object was distributed in a bar in Lille at the end of 2020, the police officer also discovered that Benoit was living at that time in Roubaix, 15 kilometers away. And that’s not all, because Georges was able to obtain the suspect’s medical records. The latter had leukemia and received a bone marrow transplant in 2019, just as the Argentail monster was resting from his crimes before heading back to Sette. Even if Benoit is indeed the killer who has been rampaging through the set for weeks, Commander Constant wants to take a DNA sample to be sure.
Lisa then goes to high school and asks Amel to keep her distance from Benoit. Faced with his questions, Lisa implies that the police suspect her of murder. Therefore, he calls his little sister not to approach him and to be careful.
Meanwhile, Audrey visits Benjamin at his hotel to bring him food. Since she still hasn’t informed Hadrian of her mother’s death, Audrey offers to do so instead, but he declines. Benjamin thinks it’s up to him, grabs his courage in both hands and calls the young man.
At the police station, Georges received the demarcation of Benoit’s phone. Unsurprisingly, the device stopped at his home during the Shassan murders and the Delcourt attack. Only Lisa replies that she could have left the laptop at home to build an alibi. Although the policeman is convinced that this is the killer, Martin replies that they have already wrongly accused two suspects because they had the perfect profile of the culprit.
Shortly after, Commander Constant arrives at the school and takes Benoit to the station to question him. During interrogation, he confirms several suspicions of the police. He’s scarred from leukemia, he also uses the same shaving soap as the killer, and he’s already been to a friends bar in Lille. Realizing that he is a suspect, Benoit defends himself by saying that the first victims are his parents.
As for the bite marks on his hands, Benoit simply states that he regularly takes blood samples to monitor for leukemia. Martin then demands to see his right flank, but Benoit has no sign of Roxanne’s shot. The latter then claims that they are on the wrong path and that he had nothing to do with the murders. However, Benoit adds that these coincidences may not be coincidences. Indeed, the professor believes that the killer has been stalking him since his parents’ murder, and enjoys being away from him.
Afterwards, Georges announces that he has received Benoit’s DNA results: the blood does not match that found at the crime scene.
Charlie wants to prove that she is still a girl without limits
Early in the morning, Charlie receives a message from Jules, who makes him laugh a lot. When François thinks he’s talking to Nathan, Charlie replies that her ex-boyfriend is passing the set and that he’s glad to see him again. Inevitably, the French teacher is not mistaken and realizes that it is not worth playing this little game with him. Indeed, François is not the jealous type and trusts her completely.
Charlie then goes to the spoon, where he joins Jules. After being complimented on her looks, Jules declares that she will always be the girl who meant the most in his life. Soizic, sitting at the next table, interrupts their conversation to greet his rival. In turn, Charlie introduces her to Jules as her ex-boyfriend. An opportunity to tell Dr. Vernet that they go very well together and are accomplices. When Charlie says it’s in the past, Soizic replies that there’s no need to rekindle the fire before leaving them alone.
Later, Soizic goes to François to get a drill. Once again, she struggles with Charlie being her own age, then begins to realize that she has crossed paths with an ex-boyfriend. Knowing full well that she’s been trying to mess up the marriage in the first place, François, who thinks she’s been pretty good, urges her to stop playing her little game.
In turn, Jules confides in Gabrielle that she wants to get back together with Charlie. This is also the reason why he returned to Sete. Gabriel says he loves Francois a lot, but Jules doesn’t really believe their story. When Charlie joins them and refuses to drink the beer he offers her, Jules blames him for stopping her after she started a relationship with an older man. To prove him wrong, Charlie ends up having a beer with them.
Shortly after going to the spoon, Charlie tells Nathan that he’s going to throw a big party at Sylvain and Kristel’s house. In fact, it’s just to prove to Jules that she’s still a no-nonsense girl.
Mariana makes it clear with Sebastian
Marianne is furious with her husband for not appreciating Renault marking her territory in front of Sebastien. A little game that he found particularly pathetic. Although Renault admits that he was exaggerating a bit, Marian points out that Sebastien did not fall into the trap and even showed himself to be worthy. As he defends her, Reno ends up wondering if she has reason to be jealous.
Mariana then finds her daughter in the hospital and tells her about the disastrous evening the previous day. When Chloe asks if she has feelings for the prosecutor, Marian insists that they are just friends.
On her daughter’s advice, Mariana goes to see Sebastian in his office. After he apologizes to her for her husband’s attitude, Mariana informs him that she doesn’t want any confusion between them. That is why he returns the scarf he gave her and reminds her that she is married.
Later, Sebastian is visited by his grandson. Seeing Mariana’s scarf on her desk, Camille didn’t try it on. When Sebastien wants to give her a present, Camille replies that it’s not really her style. So he offers an application for sale, which he accepts. But Camille noticed that her grandfather was strange. To cover his tracks, he makes her believe he’s on a big file that’s taking his mind off her.
Not far from there, Kristel apologizes to Mariana for her scarf mistake. Although she doesn’t blame him, Marian advises him to be careful next time.
