The protagonist of ‘Daredevil’, Charlie Cox has expressed his hope that Deborah Ann Woll will return to the new Disney+ series.
Filming for the season has already started. of 18 episodes, in which Cox will reprise his character, joined by his colleagues from the Netflix series, Vincent D’Onofrio and Jon Bernthal.
At the moment, it does not appear that Deborah Ann Woll or Elden Henson will reprise their roles from the series.as Karen Page and Foggy Nelsondespite Karen’s relevance to the Marvel Comics story.
Cox was asked about the absence of these characters during his participation in the GalaxyCon and showed his hope that Karen would join the series.
“I would like Matt to continue exploring. There are plenty of funny stories to tell yet“, he stated.
“If you’re a true ‘Daredevil’ fan, there’s probably only one possible Karen Page for you (maybe I’m wrong).”
At the end of last year, Deborah Ann Woll commented on the podcast, inside of youwho had yet to hear from Marvel or Disney about ‘Born Again’.
“I would be delighted to be a part, you know where I am,” he said. “mI love the character and I love telling that story. I feel like I have more things to say. But it’s up to them what kind of story they want to tell.“.
The producers have already pieced together a major role, as Better Call Saul’s Sandrine Holt will take over from Netflix cast member Ayelet Zurer as Wilson Fisk’s wife Vanessa.
The first three seasons of ‘Daredevil’ are available on streaming on Disney+. ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ is scheduled to premiere in 2024.
