Why did you leave the shoot?
‘Bullet Train‘, the action movie starring Brad Pitt and set aboard a high-speed train running through Japan, it looks absolutely insane and has an all-star cast. Nevertheless, It could have been even crazier and more glamorous if Lady Gaga hadn’t had to drop out of the movie.
Sandra Bullock replaced Gaga as the Maria Beetle character in August due to scheduling conflicts.and now director David Leitch has clarified what really happened that made her walk away from ‘Bullet Train’.
“It really all came down to his schedule with the Ridley movie. [Scott]”, he told Entertainment Weekly. “There were conversations and we saw that this was not going to work because she was preparing for the film ‘The Gucci house‘”.
“They started shooting right before us and overlapped with our work so it didn’t work“.
But while he confirmed that part of the report, when it came to who would have played Gaga, he coyly said, “I’m going to leave that as a mystery“.
‘The House of Gucci’ worked quite well for Lady Gaga. For her role as vengeful wife Patrizia she received praise from critics and audiences but, more importantly, she also created many meme-worthy moments during the film’s press tour, from believing that the real Patrizia sent “swarms of flies” to follow her around the set, until she got drunk on the non-alcoholic prop wine.
Gaga is clearly very busy right now. Earlier this month, he released his latest single ‘Hold My Hand’, which serves as the theme song for the new movie, ‘Top Gun: Maverick’.
She is also ready to finally embark on the ‘Chromatica Ball Tour‘ in July, playing songs from his sixth studio album ‘Chromatica’which was released in 2020.
