‘Daredevil: Born Again’: Arty Froushan joins the cast of the new Disney+ series

‘Daredevil: Born Again’ has signed a new cast member: Arty Froushan joins the renewed Marvel series.

The Disney+ series will once again feature Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock and with Vincent D’Onofrio as the villain Wilson Fisk (also know as king pin).

According to Deadline, Froushan has been cast in a major role. From their website they report that the actor will get into Harry’s skin. The news came after the leak of some photos of D’Onofrio on the set, which also featured Froushan.

Along with the aforementioned performers, ‘Born Again’ will see the return of Jon Bernthal as The Punisher. Sandrine Holt, Nikki M James, Margarita Levieva, and Michael Gandolfini have also joined the cast.

For his part, Erik Oleson – showrunner of the third season of the Netflix original series, ‘Daredevil’ – recently claimed that there was a possibility that both series were connected.

“I don’t have any inside information. I knew it was going to happen from rumors, through friends of the Marvel family. But I really don’t know what they’re planning yetOleson commented.

“We used pieces from ‘Born Again’ in our batch. I keep calling [a ‘Daredevil: Born Again’] ‘the fourth season’, but they’re trying to insist that it’s not, so I’ll take whatever they want to call it.”

Oleson shared his support for the new season, saying: “I cheer you on. I am very glad that Charlie and Vincent [D’Onofrio], and I hope that more of our friends at Marvel get the chance to do more of the series.“.

“I’m a big fan of them and a big fan of the series. I’m looking forward to seeing how it goes – I hope it’s great.”

All three seasons of ‘Daredevil’ are available on streaming on Disney+. ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ is scheduled to premiere in 2024.
