The Spider-Verse team produces the short film The Spider Within

Good news for Spider-Verse fans… The film crew behind the upcoming sequel Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse have created a short film set in the same universe, which will debut at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival in June.

As reported by Variety, the short film will see Miles Morales (Shameik Moore) struggle to balance his responsibilities as a teenager, friend and student while acting as a friendly Brooklyn neighborhood superhero. After a particularly difficult day living under these pressures, Miles suffers a panic attack that forces him to deal with the manifestations of his anxiety and to learn that asking for help can be as brave as protecting his city from harm.

At first glance, the shorts will not appear in front Through the Spider-Verse (in theaters June 2), while Annecy runs from June 11 to 17. but maybe this will serve as a bridge between this and the second sequel, beyond the cry of the spiderwhich lands on March 29 next year.
