Unexpected success on Netflix in 2021, who killed Sarah? This year returns with the third and final season, which finally has to answer all the questions that remained unanswered at the end of the second season and especially the most important one, namely, the title of the Mexican TV series.
What happened to Sarah (Ximena Lamadrid)? After his brother Alex (Manolo Cardona) was released from prison, after he was wrongly convicted in his murder, tongues were opened, family secrets reappeared and the truth is not far away.
During the investigation, Alex learns that his sister had many secrets and that he suffered from dissociative identity disorder and that his mental health was fragile. But this psychiatrist had something to hide, namely his connection with Nikandro (Matthias Novoa), Rodolfo Lazcano (), Sarah’s childhood favorite ex-boyfriend. Nikandro was sharing drugs with Sarah, but the latter brought her to her parents.
So obviously Alex will go to this track to find out more about what happened to Sarah Jose Ignacio Valenzuela in the new episodes of the Netflix series. Alex’s investigation will lead him to the same man, played by the Frenchman Jean Reno.
Known for his roles in Le Grand Bleu (1988), Léon (1994), Les Visiteurs (1993), Godzilla (1998) and The Da Vinci Code (2005), Jean Reno is one of the most popular actors in French cinema. He also had a successful international career.
In recent years, the actor, who has been nominated three times for Best Actor at Caesar, has been featured on several Netflix shows, including Spike Lee Da 5 Bloods and Olivier Marshall Bronx. We find him today Who killed Sarah? In Season 3, which is a hit on the platform.
Integrating the actors of the Mexican TV series was really easy for Jean Reno because he is of Spanish descent from Andalusia. Her real name is Juan Moreno y Herrera-Jiménez, Jean Reno speaks very good Spanish and he proves it in the movie Who Killed Sarah ?.
In Season 3 of the Mexican TV series, Jean Reno plays the main antagonist: Reinaldo Gomez de la Cortina, who is none other than Nikandro’s father! The latter is a physician specializing in mental disorders who worked with Dr. Alan on the Medusa project, which conducted experiments on patients whose mental health was fragile.
We learn that Sarah had inherited schizophrenia, which she inherited from her father. His profile was particularly intriguing to Dr. Reinaldo Gomez de la Cortina, who tricked Nikandro and Marifer (Sarah’s former best friend and half) into causing Sarah’s boat crash.

Before others thought Sarah was dead, Dr. Reinaldo Gomez de la Cortina simply hid Sarah and locked her in his institute to conduct experiments on her. The 16-year-old was pregnant at the time of the accident and gave birth to a girl, Lucia, who is now 18, in a psychiatric facility.
Jean Reno’s character is a vicious, power-hungry man who will do anything to carry out his experiments. Unscrupulous and immoral, he even had his own daughter Daniela locked up in a psychiatric institution, thinking he could “cure” her because she was a lesbian. He did not hesitate to blackmail his son Nikandro to get to Sarah.
Thus, the French actor got a real role as a villain and the main antagonist in the Mexican TV series. Her character is a key element in deciding who killed Sarah ?, whose latest episodes have been available on Netflix since May 18.
