The average real income of workers increased by 7.5% compared to the same quarter in 2022
RIO – The rate of unemployment in the country was 8.4% in the quarter ended January to 8.6% in the quarter ended February of this year, according to data from Continuous national sample survey on households (continuous PNAD) released this Friday, 31, from Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE).
A mass of real income paid to the employed amounted to R$ 275.457 billion in the quarter ended February, an increase of 11.4% over the same period last year.
