Fantastic Four: Marvel announces the new writer of the film

A new Fantastic Four reboot is in the works from Marvel and is expected to hit theaters in 2025. With few details revealed, the studio has now announced a new writer for the project.

Josh Friedman, known for working on the screenplays of Avatar: The Walk of Water and Terminator: Dark Fate, is expected to write the production. Initially this function was entrusted to the duo Jeff Kaplan and Ian Springer and there are no details on the reasons for the exchange.

Despite being announced a few years ago, little is known about the new Fantastic Four film, which is expected to be a mainstay of the MCU for years to come. The film, however, seems to face problems in its production, which has already had director changes and several names speculated in the cast.

Now, whoever is in the directorial post is Matt Shakman, known for Wandavision. The film will be released on February 14, 2025, before Avengers: Kang Dynasty.

Beginning in June, the animation will be shown exclusively in theaters and will see Ember stepping out of her comfort zone to explore the spectacular world created for the big screen.
