Which saga do you like more, ‘Star Wars’ or ‘Back to the Future’? Well, now there will be no choice.
Anyone would say that season 3 of ‘The Mandalorian’ has been the first of ‘The Book of Boba Fett’, but let’s not get ahead of ourselves. It is true that we have had more than we expected from Mando and Grogu in the spin-off of the spin-off that is that series, as well as it is true that we expect more connections in the next Star Wars series on disney + like ‘Ahsoka ‘ and ‘Obi-Wan Kenobi’. But we do not forget that season 3 of ‘The Mandalorian’ continues, although some have already forgotten that end of 2020 in which Luke Skywalker reappeared. The last chapters of ‘The Book of Boba Fett’ have pretty much sated our thirst for Mando and Grogu, but the odd couple is already developing its third season with all the letters.
As always when it comes to Disney and the franchises owned by it, the information is known with a dropper, but according to reports TheHollywoodReporter, there has been a signing of bells for the cast. None other than Christopher Lloyd, Doc from the ‘Back to the Future’ saga, will be in season 3.
How could it be otherwise, the exact role that Lloyd will have in the season is still unknown, if he will play a villain, an ally or even we will see him little, under the guise of a strange alien creature or droid. According to the source, it is suspected that it will be a small appearance, although that is the case with almost all the secondary characters of the series. Of course, each one has great moments in which we hope that Lloyd leaves a mark.
Season 3 of ‘The Mandalorian’ has been in development since 2020, but possibly due to the accumulation of projects and series in the saga, Disney has taken it easy. Filming is currently taking place in Southern California, so we can expect the new season to premiere in late 2022 or early 2023.
