The continuation of the series “Sergius against evil spirits. Sabbath” was released in theaters in March of this year, and in KION it will be available in the format of a series in an extended version – with scenes that were not included in the film. Filming is currently underway for the three final episodes of the franchise, which will premiere in 2024. The project was produced by KION and LOOKFILM.
The premiere of the series “Sergius against evil spirits” took place in 2022. The project was loved by both viewers and critics. At the festival of series “Pilot” the project was awarded by a professional jury for “a masterful mixture of genres”: detective, mysticism and black humor. The franchise is based on the adventures of a former priest (Roman Mayakin) and police captain Katya Zemtsova (Lukerya Ilyashenko). Together they investigate crimes committed by dark forces. The lives of the heroes are complicated by Katya’s mischievous and not very smart ex-partner Krakin (Dmitry Kulichkov), demoted to a district police officer and dreaming of revenge. And the wise Auntie (Irina Rozanova), who in her youth herself successfully hunted evil spirits, helps them. With her help, the heroes have already fought with a witch who kidnaps small children, Koshchei and a bayun cat.
