The quality of the film is very much related to his animation and, in particular, the animation of the main character, signed by the great Glen Keane, one of the most prestigious artists of the Disney studio. Indeed, in addition to Tarzan, he is known for working on a variety of characters, such as Ariel in The Little Mermaid, Marathon Eagle in Bernard, and Bianca Kangaroo in Aladdin, Pocahontas, and even Rapunzel.

Jungle Skate

One of the animators in charge of Tarzan’s character had the idea to surf the character on tree branches, in addition to swinging from vine to vine. For this the artists were inspired by the famous professional skateboarder Tony Hawk.
