Matt Cuchry (Conrad) will star in the ultra-popular series after The Resident’s hiatus!

Despite closing the doors of Atlanta’s Chastain Hospital, Matt Cuchry, the translator of Dr. Conrad Hawkins in The Resident, is not idle and will soon become very popular in the credits of the horror series.

To the great despair of fans, the American network Fox announced this week the cancellation of the medical series Resident, which also has Manish Dayal, Bruce Greenwood or even Jessica Lucas (Gotham) and which stops after six seasons.

Thus, Conrad Hawkins’ translator remains in the 20th TV family. The production company owned by Disney Group and producing The Resident is also behind American Horror Story.

No word has yet filtered in about the next season of American Horror Story or the character Matt Chuchry will play, making his first appearance in the horror anthology created by Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk (Glee, 9-1-1, Nip. /Tuck).

We just know that this twelfth series of episodes will begin filming in May, for a broadcast that is normally scheduled this fall on FX across the Atlantic and Canal + in France.

Last October, viewers discovered American Horror Story: NYC Season 11, set in New York City in 1981 amid a series of gay murders, even as a strange virus began to spread and sow death among the LGBT community.

The cast of this eleventh season included Russell Tovey, Joe Mantello, Charlie Carver, Billie Lourd, Isaac Powell, Dennis O’Hare, Zachary Quinto, Leslie Grossman, and Patti LuPone. Will some of them return in Season 12 as new characters?

Either way, the American Horror Story anthology still has a bright future. In 2020, FX channel indeed renewed the series for three seasons at a time, ensuring that it will continue at least until the 13th season scheduled for 2024.
