This Friday, May 20, the AppleTV + platform will present its new original and international products, now and then. A Spanish-American joint production, the program follows the story of a group of college friends who have been caught for the past twenty years since the death of their classmate.
To better understand the bets of this thriller, we went to meet the show’s three showers Ramon Campos, Gerna Neira and Gideon Raff, as well as the lead actors. Here are their answers!
Ramon Campos (Showrunner): We wanted to understand the dreams we had in our youth. What happens when you get older, do these dreams come true or do they disappear? The series explores the frustrations we may encounter throughout our lives.
Rosie Perez: It is about understanding how one tragic event can change your life forever and how you can cope with that change.
Gerna Neira (Showner): It is interesting to study the moment when your life changes. What will turn your life in this or that direction? The dilemma of existence is the realization that life is a sequence of choices that leads to such and such consequences.
Zeliko Ivanek: You will put all the choices you make in life one way or another, so you have to be careful about the consequences of that choice. In a minute everything can change in your life. But most importantly, we always have a choice, an opportunity to change the course of our existence, with diligence and honesty.
Soleda William: It is about a youth secret that a group of friends are trying to hide. But events are finally emerging again and they now have to face the consequences of their actions. This is a series that deals with the topic of crime and how difficult it is to live with the severity of the mistakes of the past.
Jose Maria Yazipik: What is fantastic about this series is the energy that is generated by this international collaboration. This series calls into question the consequences of our actions. Can you live with what you did in the past? Can you reconcile yourself and others?
Marina de Tavira: It is interesting to observe the gravity of time throughout a lifetime. This is what comes out of this series. Over time how do you become someone better, or someone worse. There are always many surprises waiting for you in life; He had to be ready for everything. This is a series that also shows that we all share the same humanity. Although we are from different backgrounds, we have a lot in common. We need to learn coexistence rather than the search for conflict between us.
Gideon Raffi (Shouraner): Of course, our outlook on life is different when we are young. Then the years go by and what we had in mind does not always happen the way we want it to. I think this series will make you think about your life and the choices you make. Maybe this series will make you realize that sometimes you have to know how to turn the page and stop bitterness and regret. In life, you have to accept the evolution of things.
