Daredevil will be back in Marvel’s cinematic world soon! According to our colleagues DeadlineDisney + would start developing the series around Hell’s Kitchen Superhero and add to the long list of Marvel projects developed by the platform (Echo, Secret Invasion, Marvel Zombies, etc.).
Many hoped that the fourth season of the Daredevil series, previously offered on Netflix, could see the light of day. However at this point it is not confirmed that these new products will really be a sequel as there would be talk of a new series that could be assumed to contain fewer scenes of violence. Screenwriters Matt Corman and Chris Ord (Secret Cases) will write the program, while Charlie Cox will resume – a priori – the role of Dardville.
The appearance of the latter as Matt Murdoch in the film Spider-Man No Way Home, and the appearance of Kingpin (Vincent D’Onofrio) in the Hawkeye series, however, does not seem to leave any doubt about their future involvement in the project. During the interview, Kevin Page also confirmed that Charlie Cox remained in his eyes as Daredevil’s translator at MCU and therefore he will not change.
There is no doubt that MCU fans will meet Daredevil’s new series with open arms. We should also keep in mind that Marvel series previously released on Netflix (Jessica Jones, Iron Fist, Luke Cage, the Punisher, Defenders, etc.) will be available on Disney + from June 29th.
