After the Brazilians are arrested in Germany, the passengers photograph and trace their suitcases

The drama experienced by Jeanne Paolini and Kátyna Baía, who saw their luggage tags exchanged with suitcases full of drugs at the Guarulhos airport, triggered the alert.

The episode of Brazilian women unjustly arrested in Germany for having exchanged their luggage for suitcases with drugs has triggered alarm in many passengers, who have begun to photograph the suitcase and even trace it.

In a report by Camila Corsini for the UOL site, many passengers spoke of the procedures they are adopting to avoid something similar to what happened in Joan Paolini AND Katyna Bahiawhose baggage tags were changed at Guarulhos airport in the São Paulo metropolitan region.

One of the interviewees, the student Natasha Nascimentowas about to leave for England and recounts the procedure adopted as a precaution: “Several people have sent me the video [das etiquetas sendo trocadas]so I will photograph and film my suitcase, even when it’s open, when it’s time to check in”, said the young woman, who has even imagined that, in case something happens, she has proof that the suitcase is not hers.

Fear also felt by Gledson Camposwho was in Guarulhos waiting for a flight to the United States. “I always ship [as malas], but I am very afraid of loss. This time, more people told me to be careful.”.
