Matt Corman and Chris Ord will write the script for the return of Matt Murdock… With Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio?
Disney+ is developing a new ‘Daredevil’ series after recovering the rights from Netflix and after charlie cox Y Vincent D’Onofrio to reincarnate Matt Murdock and Kingpinrespectively, in recent Marvel merchandise.
Charlie Cox returned to play Matt Murdock, Daredevil’s secret identity, in ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home‘, while Vincent D’Onofrio brought back the villainous Wilson Fisk, aka Kingpin, in the series ‘Hawk Eye‘. His appearance in the new series is not confirmed, but it would be a surprise if it didn’t happen.
Matt Corman and Chris Ord will executive produce and write the script for the new series. Corman and Ord were the co-creators of the series ‘Covert Affairs‘ on USA Network, starring Piper Perabo and Christopher Gorham. The show ran for five seasons between 2010 and 2014. They recently worked as executive producers on the NBC drama series ‘The Enemy Within‘ Y ‘The Brave‘, as well as on The CW series ‘containment‘.
The move coincides with the arrival of the ‘Defenders’ universe series on Disney+, after Marvel regained the rights from Netflix. from the next June 29, ‘Daredevil’, ‘Jessica Jones’, ‘Luke Cage’, ‘Iron Fist’, ‘The Defenders’ and ‘The Punisher’ They will begin to be part of the marvelous catalog of Disney + series, and it remains to be seen if they will become a canon of the UCM.
As for self-produced series, after the completion of ‘moon knight‘ Disney + has presented this week the first trailer for ‘She-Hulk: Lawyer Hulka’, its next series starring Tatiana Maslany, Mark Ruffalo, Tim Roth and Benedict Wong. ‘She-Hulk: Lawyer Hulka’ will hit the platform on August 17.
