Doc and Veto on France 3: How much is this new episode with Dounia Cozens and Michelle Symes worth?

After the two first opus, broadcast in 2021 and 2022, which gathered an average of 4.5 million viewers, La Doc et le Véto returns this Tuesday, April 18, from 21:10 on France 3, for a new episode still hosted by the duo Dunia Coessens leads. (A More Beautiful Life) and Michelle Symes.

In “Le Lac du Diable”, the inhabitants of the small village of Valerand-les-Chantelles and its surroundings seem to be strangely afflicted with the same disease. Both men and beasts drop like flies, victims of serious lung problems.

Emma and Pierre then team up to solve this mystery, which seems to have originated in Lac de Crussignac, which was the scene of a tragedy a few years earlier that still haunts the minds of the residents of the region.

Meanwhile, Emma, who discovered in the previous episode that her mother and Pierre dated months before she was born, tries to figure out if the vet she never knew might be her father. . Of course, the latter, who is afraid of the consequences, is not ready to make it easy for him.

Is the new episode worth watching?

As in the first two opuses, which were particularly concerned with the place of youth in the rural world, this new episode of La Doc et le Véto once again offers a window into the problems that the medical profession can face in the region.

Here, a veterinarian and a doctor encounter a strange gas that affects both humans and animals. If for them a logical explanation is at the root of this phenomenon, for the inhabitants of a small village it is completely different.

In order to find out the truth and, above all, to find a solution to this problem, which could have serious consequences for Valerand-le-Chantel and its surroundings, Emma and Pierre will have to fight with beliefs, superstitions, myths and legends. out of town.

If, as in the first two opuses, the script, always written by Silvian Corgia and Bruno Lequin, sometimes lacks subtlety, we still enjoy finding the calm and peaceful environment of La Doc et le Véto.

The duo created by Dunya Cousins, who is now part of the cast of the series Tomorrow, belongs to us, and Michelle Symes still does a good job, even if the mystery of the relationship between the two characters does little for the plot. It’s just a comic source for authors.

Note that a new episode of the series will be broadcast on Tuesday, April 25 at 21:10 on France 3. This time, Doc and Véto will have to live in a difficult coexistence between the herders and vultures of the region.
