Last day of window open! Remember Santos’ movement on the transfer market

Twelve athletes arrived and twelve other players left the club

The transaction window between the Brazilian clubs closes this Thursday (20). Without reinforcements for Santos in this final stretch, it is possible to draw a draw with the agitated movement of Alvinegro Praiano on the transfer market.

In total, 12 athletes have started wearing the mantle of Santos: goalkeeper Vladimir, defenders Joaquim and Messias, wingers João Lucas and Gabriel Inocêncio, defensive midfielders Dodi and Alison, midfielders Lucas Lima, Daniel Ruiz and Luan Dias and forwards Mendoza and Bruno Mezenga.

Of these new reinforcements, eight came permanently to Peixe. The other four are at Vila Belmiro on loan. They are: Luan Dias, Bruno Mezenga, Gabriel Inocêncio and Daniel Ruiz.

After leaving the club, twelve other players went in search of new airs at the start of the season: goalkeeper John, defender Wagner Leonardo, fullback Madson, defensive midfielder Jobson, midfielders Carlos Sánchez, Pirani, Zanocelo, Lucas Lourenço and Gabi Carabajal (still unannounced in Vasco), and forwards Rwan Seco, Tailson and Raniel.

Most of these transactions were not final exits. Seven players (John, Pirani, Zanocelo, Carabajal, Lucas Lourenço, Rwan Seco and Tailson) have been loaned by Santos to current clubs.

In addition to these right choices, Peixe suffered a bit from the reinforcements in the window. Among the transactions that have “dissolved” are those invested by Lucas Blondel, Jamerson, Charles Aránguiz, Jean Lucas and Diego Pituca.

Now, for Santos fans, hope remains that these transfer movements will have a belated effect. Most of the signings came before the club’s early elimination in Paulistão.
