Mark and Chloe escape the worst

Mark and Chloe are kidnapped by Basil, Beaufort’s accomplice. A situation that greatly panics Chloe, who imagines the worst. Luckily, Mark is there to comfort her. Moreover, the latter is sure that Beaufort and his accomplice are just trying to save time, knowing full well that they will go to the police upon release. According to him, they are probably digging up barrels to eliminate evidence.

Evan and Robin, on the other hand, are concerned because they haven’t heard anything about Chloe. The teenager then calls Louis, who also can’t reach his father. Despite his concerns, Cresson’s son tries to put things into perspective by explaining that Mark and Chloe probably don’t have network or that they really had a battery problem. However, Evan thinks something bad has happened and calls the police.

At the same time, Beaufort accuses his accomplice of kidnapping a journalist and a clerk. Although he knows perfectly well that he is in trouble, Basil still refuses to let them go, knowing that they will go straight to the police station. He has already taken a break after hearing the same case, he does not want to go to jail because of them. While he plans to eliminate them, Beaufort then refuses to order them to be released on the spot. When she turns her back on him, Basil shoots her.

Later, Basil begins digging up cans of toxic waste when the police arrive and arrest him. A short while later, Mark and Chloe were released.

The next morning, Elisa interrogates Beaufort and his accomplice, who confess to the charges against them.

Not far from there, Chloe returns home to the delight of Robin, who wraps her arms around him. The clerk then thanks her husband for calling the police and then admits that she wasn’t careful with the story. In turn, Evan apologizes to her for not taking her seriously and not being there for her. Robin better stop apologizing and instead be glad they stopped the bad guys.

Later, Chloe receives a call from Judge Alfandi, who clarifies that the two assailants have given full confessions. That’s why they were convicted. If Beaufort is in danger of escaping from prison, this does not apply to his accomplice.

At the same time, Mark tells Leonor how much he blames himself for getting Chloe into this. It’s the perfect opportunity for Leonor to tease her ex-husband about getting close to Chloe. When the journalist replies that they are just friends, Leonor smiles.

At the end of the day, Mark calls Chloe and asks for forgiveness for getting involved in all this. Even if something goes wrong, the journalist is happy to be able to get to know him better. Mark also claims to miss their little hideouts. An opinion that Chloe shares. A little embarrassed, they remain silent for a moment before hanging up. When Evan walks into the room and tries to figure out who he was on the phone with, Chloe makes him believe it was Cecile.

Eve and Virgil lead the investigation

Manu is with his psychologist. Now Eva’s estranged psychologist wants to know how she feels about this new loneliness. If the policeman saw it as bad, he was excited, on the other hand, that he could talk to his daughter on video the night before. While he tries to find out how Camille reacted to his breakup, Manu replies that she didn’t say anything. Camille preferred to avoid thinking about him while she was in Korea.

In turn, Eva investigates Aline Delclos with Virgil, who agrees to help.

At the police station, Aya and Alex question Benoit Auger, a man posing as Thibaut Delclos. After his fingerprints are found at Juliet Quester’s house, he confesses and specifies that he was hired by Cédric Lupiak to capture Aline Delclos.

The police immediately set up a confrontation between Cedric Lupiak and Benoit Auger. Cedric Lupiak then confirms that he met Auger twice. When she had a child in a wheelchair, she came for advice. For his part, Benoit Auger confirms Lupiac’s words, but adds that during this meeting he offered to pretend to be Thibaut Delclos in order to trap Aline. A version that Loupiac strongly denies. Just then, Aya enters the interrogation room and gives the prepaid phone to the colleague who sent the famous photo found during the search of Lupiak’s house. But according to Cedric, this phone does not belong to him.

In turn, Becker summons Manu. With the Fidèle or Not agency acquitted, the commissioner asks Captain Leon to reopen the investigation. which he receives.

At the same time, Eve tells Virgil that she was watching a regional news report in which Allyn gave an interview about her activities in the herd. As she never mentions Fred Sauzet, her employer, Eve, and Virgil conclude that she was not very good with him. That’s why they decided to take a closer look at this herd.
