The film made with artificial intelligence was awarded at the Nikon Film Festival in 2023

13th edition Nikon Film Festival It concluded with an awards ceremony this Friday, April 21 at the Le Grand Rex cinema. An unmissable event in the film world and a great springboard for young talent, this free event, open to all, allows budding filmmakers to make a 2 minute to 20 minute short film on a set theme.

This year the topic was related to the issue number 13! “Central to many beliefs, the number 13 holds a special place in numerical symbolism: much of the Western world associates it with misfortune, where China associates it with a lucky charm…” the organizers say. “As every year, the chosen theme is voluntary, leaving a lot of room for interpretation to the filmmakers who want to express themselves through the festival. Beyond a simple limitation, it makes it possible to define a framework in which several hundred different faces express their creativity.

Alexandre Astier, President of the Jury and many talented people gathered to present the prizes of this 13th edition. Among the members we find Caroline Anglade, Mariama Gue, Pio Marmay, Luciolet, Francois Descrax, Maud Challar, Romain Quiro, Guillemette Audicino, Pascal Foret, David Bertrand and Alexandre Dino.
