After starring in memorable scenes as Gamora, Zoë Saldaña leaves Marvel. One of the stars of the franchise Guardians of the Galaxy revealed to The Hollywood Reporter who is not expected to return after the third film in the hero group.

Saldaña said the third film in the franchise isn’t the last of the Guardians, but it’s the last for her.
I don’t think this is the end for the Guardians, but it certainly is the end for me, for Gamora. On my last day on set, I thanked James (Gunn, director and writer of the film) for spending so much time with this character, for guiding me through these films and for his friendship.

She’s not the only one to leave the Space Hitchhikers troupe. Even Dave Bautista, the interpreter of Drax, has announced that he will leave the Guardians after the third film.
