Is missingფIphoria ? You may like his little Daniel and. Freely based on the novel Mulleum By Erland Lowe, Kamikaze is an eight-episode series available exclusively on CANAL + and myCANAL. The first Danish original series commissioned by HBO, this creation by Johannes Algren (Holiday) deals with the rage of an 18-year-old woman who does not know how to deal with grief.

Even if Kamikadze has a completely different aesthetic from the aesthetics of euphoria – though he has the same winding and inspired sections – the Danish TV series also has its protagonist a young teenager in distress who faces mourning and who deliberately starts accidents with dramatic consequences.

We think that Julie, who also acts as a shrewd and sarcastic narrator of her life, can be friendly with Rue (Zendaya), especially since her translator Marie Reuters is performing a sacred play, fairly, sincerely and meaninglessly. Not surprisingly, the actress received a prize for her portrayal of a woman at the Mania 2021 Festival, where the series was successfully presented.

If Rue is hit by drugs after her father’s death, Julie, who comes from a wealthy family, flies to all four corners of the globe and suffers all sorts of extinctions in a plane crash after the death of her entire family. A young woman abandoned on her own, sometimes suicidal, sometimes full of life, does not understand the injustice of her parents’ disappearance and tries to find her way and a new identity in the world that left her.

But this one-mile-an-hour life where Julie swims and seeks the slightest sensation will encounter the final catastrophic blow that will leave a young woman in critical condition. The series is based on this alternation between flashbacks and flashforwards, which leaves the public in uncertainty about the fate of Julie, with whom we are easily chained and whose happy ending we wish.

Melancholy, raw and inspired, Kamikaze is a little nag that should not be missed on CANAL +, both for his harsh words and for his unusual character. The Danish series also fascinates with its staging and rhythm, which takes the form of a dangerous but wildly exciting acid road trip.
