With more than a million views on the American YouTube channel, this first promo video for The Black Knight caught the attention of subscribers with its story and attractive images. This South Korean series immerses us in a dystopian world where only 1% of the population survives. In a future ravaged by air pollution, humanity’s survival depends on atypical births, nicknamed the “Dark Knights.”
Actor Kim Woo-bin (Alienoid) appears in the black suit of 5-8, one of his famous suppliers. But when he discovers that a multinational company that has control over the supply of oxygen wants to deprive part of the population of this precious resource, 5-8 takes up arms. The trailer released by Netflix a few hours ago promises a great show, between chases, explosions and close combat.
This is a webtoon adaptation Delivery Knight by Lee Yoon-kyun is expected on Netflix on May 12. And it’s sure to be a hit.
