The victims are between 8 and 12 years old. A man was also arrested in the act in Imbé, accused of having paid a check to the girls’ mother and of abusing the girls.
This Thursday (27), a woman was arrested in the act in Porto Alegre, suspected of having subjected her three daughters – aged 8, 10 and 12 – to sexual exploitation. A man was also arrested in the act in Imbé, on the north coast of Rio Grande do Sul, on charges of paying a check to the girls’ mother and abusing the girls.
According to the Civil Police, the man offered gifts such as toys, clothes and personal hygiene products to the girls, and received them in an apartment located a few blocks from his home. He is also suspected of producing child pornography for sale and personal use.
The case was discovered by the 1st Children and Adolescent Police Station (DPCA), after an anonymous tip. Messages were found on the suspect’s cell phone in which he offered a price list for child abuse, which was sent to other mothers of minors. According to the delegate, it was like a “menu” of abuse. The case must be divided into several investigations, based on the identification of new suspects of subjecting minors to sexual exploitation.
The three children underwent a psychological evaluation and tests to detect sexual violence at the Reference Center for Child and Adolescent Assistance (CRAI) of the Instituto Geral-de Perícias (IGP), in Porto Alegre. The operation saw the participation of teams from the Protection Council, the PGI itself and the police stations of Imbé and Balneário Pinhal.
The man was charged with sexual exploitation, child pornography and trial fraud, for attempting to damage electronic devices that were seized.
