While British news is abuzz with the coronation of King Charles III on May 6, Netflix will be releasing the first season 6 of The Crown. We discover the birth of romance between Prince William and Kate Middleton.
The couple will be portrayed by new talents Ed McVeigh and Meg Bellamy in the final season of the royal drama. These scenes were shot at the beginning of the year.
As the Crown enters a new decade, Prince William enters St Andrews University, determined to live as normal a life as possible while he still can. Kate Middleton, originally from Berkshire, also started life as a university student.

They meet on campus for the first time. A meeting that heralds a new love story and a new future for the royal family after William succeeds his father to the throne.
William was portrayed in season 5 by Seann West, son of Dominic West, who plays Charles. Netflix continues production on The Crown, with Imelda Staunton, Jonathan Pryce, Leslie Manville (currently on The Citadel) and Elizabeth Debicka reprising their roles for the final time in season 6.
