Team Mundo beats Team Europe and is champion of the Lopes Cup at Follow the Beach Copacabana

Team Mundo overtook Team Europe and won the title of the Lopes Cup on Sunday evening, played during Follow The Beach Copacabana, the largest tournament in the world, played on Copacabana beach and broadcast by Sportv 3. The competition counts 2,000 subscribers from twelve countries.

The competition will conclude this Monday with singles duels with the women’s final scheduled at 19:00 and the men’s final at 20:00 on the center court with the broadcast of Sportv 3. Each champion will take home R$ 60,000.

The big names in sport are in the quarterfinals which start at 10 with the great confrontation between Rafaella Miiller against Ninny Valentini, Nicole Nobile against Giulia Gasparri, Patricia Diaz x Sophia Chow and Flaminia Daina x Sofia Cimatti. Not before 11, André Baran faces the Italian legend Luca Cramarossa, Antomi Ramos faces Tomaso Giovannini, Nicolas Gianotti challenges the Italian Doriano Beccaccioli and Nikita Burmakin duels against Cappelletti. The Women’s Semi-Finals start at 2.00pm and the Men’s Semi-Finals start at 4.00pm.
